Practice Approach

Mr. Morse understands the worries many people have about the divorce process and going to court. Therefore, he concentrates his family law services on helping clients resolve problems through dispute resolution alternatives such as collaborative law or mediation. By helping clients negotiate key issues on their own, he seeks to help them take charge of a situation that often feels out of their control.

Mr. Morse is a trained Illinois mediator. He is also an active member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, among other professional associations.

Clients who engage in the collaborative law process often feel they have more control over outcomes. Many also benefit from the support and guidance of the various trained professionals involved in the process. Furthermore, all details of negotiations are kept private; only the final settlement is made public once it is filed in court.

Mr. Morse understands the tangible effects that legal outcomes can have on clients’ lives. By providing comprehensive counsel and informed guidance, he seeks to help clients create workable solutions that specifically address their unique concerns. While he advocates for alternative forms of dispute resolution, he is always prepared to go to trial on behalf of his clients and frequently litigates on their behalf.
